Tim Babbitt was born in Pennsylvania, where he found an early love for nature, sci-fi, and all sorts of dark fiction. In the years since, he has moved around the country for work and is now settled down in the Midwest with his fiancé and their two cats to pursue his MIS degree. His passion for art of the strange and sinister continues to inspire him, and in his free time Tim is travelling, writing, or playing metal music on his bass.
Kailey Babcock

Kailey Babcock is a forensic biologist with a passion for writing stories that explore the intersection of science fiction and the human experience. Taking inspiration from Ray Bradbury, her work uses philosophical science fiction to examine deeper themes such as connection, empathy, and the forces that shape society at large. She enjoys blending scientific realism with emotionally resonant storytelling, posing questions about what it truly means to be human.
Vince Dowdle Jr

Vince Dowdle Jr writes speculative and science fiction, asking "what if" as he explores and pushes past the boundaries of reality. When not crafting fiction, he runs a successful business selling and installing safety pool fences and covers, safeguarding children against the natural hazards of swimming pools. Father of three, he lives in Philadelphia, PA along with his beloved pit bull mix, named—believe it or not—Ripley, and occasionally passes the time by engaging in the sport of challenging email scammers with increasingly outrageous promises. Kay Hanifen

Kay Hanifen was born on a Friday the 13th and once lived for three months in a haunted castle. So, obviously, she had to become a horror writer. Her work has appeared in over 150 anthologies and magazines. Her first anthology as an editor, Till the Yule Log Burns Out, was published in 2024. Her first novel, The Last Ballard, debuted in 2025. When she’s not consuming pop culture with the voraciousness of a vampire at a 24-hour blood bank, you can usually find her with her black cats or at kayhanifenauthor.wordpress.com.

RJ Kiss is a writer based in the foothills of Colorado. He is the author of numerous published short stories and is in the process of editing his first full-length novel. His typical genres are Horror, Weird Lit, and Science-Fiction. When not writing, he enjoys thinking, collecting records, mountain biking, and reading. James Mack

J. Mack is a Los Angeles-based writer, artist, and researcher whose work explores the intersections of history, mythology, horror, science fiction, and the strange machinery of human nature. A lifelong storyteller, he has worked across theater, film, visual art, and literature. His fiction often finds the uncanny hiding just beneath the surface of the familiar. When not writing, he can usually be found researching something obscure, making something strange, or wondering where the road goes next.

F. Malanoche writes, under the cover of night, hoping to bring authentic and odd Latino stories into the world. He teaches English in the Midwest, has a wonderful wife, and a sweet vinyl collection. Truant D. Memphis

Truant D. Memphis is the author of Littlethumb Sneezed, Post Oh!pocalypto Poppycock, Daffodil, Saving Maria, and the novella The Boy Who Fell from the Past. He’s written for the stage, performed in theater and on film, and curated multiple religious texts into one giant book of rules titled Meditations With Monkeys. When he isn’t writing, he’s painting or exercising or listening to music or watching screen content or reminiscing about the good ol’ days or thinking about tomorrow or noodling with an instrument or ranting about the nature of existence. Or, walking with his best friend, a lil’ doggie named Roscoe.
Stacy Ann Milford

Stacy Ann Milford is a Nova Scotia–based fiction and nonfiction writer. She’s been writing since she could hold a pencil and was a YTV Achievement Awards Writing finalist at age 12, shortly before publishing her first nonfiction piece in Old Autos. Her short fiction has appeared in Flash Fiction Magazine, the anthology Strangers in the Fog (Partridge Island Publishing), and the forthcoming anthology The Gathering (Hollowpoint Press). Stacy’s debut nonfiction book, Beyond Peggy’s Cove: 51 Unusual and Remarkable Sites in Nova Scotia (Boulder Books), was released in August 2026.
Michael Mortimer

Michael Mortimer is a writer and award-winning filmmaker living with his wife and son in Phoenix. In 2023, he self-published his first novel, THE TOWN CRIER. His short story "Jacob’s Dragon" was included in the anthology JUST BENEATH YOUR BOAT: TALES OF AQUATIC TERROR in 2026.
Barend Nieuwstraten III

Born to Dutch and Indian immigrants, Barend Nieuwstraten III grew up and lives in Sydney, Australia. Having worked in film, short film, television, music, and online comics, he primarily writes high fantasy, science fiction, and horror with over one hundred and thirty stories published in anthologies and a novel: ‘A Man Called Boy’.
Shamoil T. Shipchandler
Contributing Author
Shamoil T. Shipchandler is an adjunct law professor, a former senior officer with the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and current in-house counsel. After years investigating white collar crimes and corporate misconduct, he decided to try to overcome being a lawyer long enough to write something people might actually enjoy reading. The verdict remains pending.
Grace Terry

Grace Terry writes all kinds of fiction (but primarily horror). Raised in the foothills of North Carolina, she completed her first "novel" at age eleven. Grace completed her Bachelor's in History at UNC-Wilmington. She is currently an MFA candidate in the Creative Writing program at Old Dominion University, as well as mom to two spooky cats.
SJ Townend

SJ Townend has had stories published through Tenebrous Press, Hellbound Books, Vastarien, Eerie River Publishing, Dark Matter Magazine, Penumbric Magazine, and a few other places. Her first horror collection, Sick Girl Screams, introduced by Robert Shearman, was published in 2024 by Brigid’s Gate Press, and her second horror collection, Your Final Sunset, was published in 2025 (Sley House Press). Her third collection, Unfamiliar Tales, is currently on hold with a very exciting press.
