When Crypsis Press was created, its focus was tightly defined around dark speculative themes, biological thrillers, and atmospheric dread. However, as submissions began rolling in, we were met with an unexpected reality: an overwhelming number of brilliantly written manuscripts that fell completely outside the speculative genre.
Rather than turning away compelling narratives, we founded Ectasis Books. Operating on the exact same author-first hybrid publishing framework as Crypsis Press, Ectasis Books gives general, contemporary, and literary storytellers access to elite design, global distribution, and professional branding—without surrendering their rights or royalties.
